Sorting table data by clicking on a column header

To quickly organize the information displayed in the table in ascending or descending order.

Procedure

1. Make sure sorting is enabled:

a. Go to the "Excel Table" block settings.

b. Under the Customization section, make sure the Allow sorting option is selected.

c. Save the changes.

2. View the table on the web page.

3. Click on the header of the column you want to sort.

  • On the first click, the column will be sorted in ascending order (from A to Z or from lowest to highest number).

4. Click again on the same header to reverse the sorting to descending.

5. (Optional) To sort the table based on multiple columns, hold down the Shift key while clicking on additional column headers.
