Why do it:
This setting allows you to prevent products belonging to specific categories from being included in the feed generated for external platforms (such as Facebook, Google Ads, or TikTok), useful for excluding ineligible or seasonal products.
Procedure
1. Access your platform's control panel and navigate to the Plugins or Extensions section.
2. Locate and open the settings of the Catalog Synchronizer plugin.
3. Look for the section dedicated to catalog filtering or advanced feed settings.
4. Find the text field or selection option titled "Categories to exclude" or similar.
5. Enter the numeric IDs of the categories you want to exclude from the feed.
- Important: If you need to exclude multiple categories, make sure to separate the IDs with a comma, without spaces (e.g.,
15,22,301).
6. Click on the Save or Apply Changes button to make the changes effective.
Once saved, the plugin will regenerate the feed excluding all products that belong, even partially, to the specified categories.
