Content:

Why do it:

This procedure allows you to create a CSV file containing your product catalog data, necessary for synchronization with external platforms like Facebook and Google Ads.

Procedure

1. Access the plugin configuration:

Navigate to the plugin management section and open the settings of the Sincronizzatore Catalogo.

2. Define category filters (Optional):

If you need to limit the products included in the feed, you can specify categories:

  • Categories to include: Enter the IDs of the categories you want to include in the feed (separated by commas). Products not belonging to these categories will be skipped.
  • Categories to exclude: Enter the IDs of the categories you want to exclude from the feed.

3. Configure Custom Labels (Optional):

You can map specific product attributes to custom labels (useful for segmenting advertising campaigns).

  • Set the desired value for customlabel0.
  • Set the desired value for customlabel1.
  • Set the desired value for customlabel2.
  • Set the desired value for customlabel3.
  • Set the desired value for customlabel4.

4. Set the fallback Brand (Optional):

If some products do not have an assigned brand, you can specify a default value (for example, your site or company name) that will be used as brand in the feed.

5. Save changes:

Click on the button to save the configuration settings.

6. Generate the CSV Feed:

Use the link or button to generate the catalog feed. The system will process the data (the process may take up to 120 seconds for large catalogs) and will automatically start downloading the file in CSV format.

Note: The generated CSV file will contain essential fields such as id, title, description, price, image_link, availability and product identifiers (gtin, mpn).
