Why do it:
This configuration is essential to ensure that external platforms (such as Google Merchant Center or TikTok Shop) correctly recognize your product variants (such as Color and Size) and group them under the main product.
Procedure
1. Log in to your e-commerce control panel and go to the settings of the Sincronizzatore Catalogo plugin.
2. Within the settings, look for the section dedicated to attribute or variant configuration.
3. Identify the mapping field for the Colore attribute.
- In this field, you need to select or enter the numeric ID of the attribute you use in your catalog to define the product's color.
- Note: If you do not have a specific color attribute, leave this field empty.
4. Identify the mapping field for the Taglia attribute.
- In this field, you need to select or enter the numeric ID of the attribute you use in your catalog to define the product's size.
- Note: If you do not have a specific size attribute, leave this field empty.
5. After selecting the correct attributes for Colore and Taglia, make sure that the general option for including variants is enabled (this corresponds to the parameter v in the system).
6. Click on the button to Save Changes (or Update Settings) to apply the configuration.
At the next feed update, the system will automatically include the Color (g:color) and Size (g:size) attributes for each product variant, correctly grouping them via the parent product ID (g:itemgroupid).
