This guide shows you how to configure the system to treat all product updates coming from external software as partial updates.
Force all product updates as partial imports
Why do this:
This option ensures that, even during a full import, the system updates only the fields of the products you have specifically selected for partial import, avoiding overwriting unwanted data.
Procedure:
1. Access the plugin settings.
2. Scroll down to the section titled Product Import.
3. Locate the option labeled Partial Import.
4. Check the box next to the text Treat all updates as partial.
> Note: After enabling this option, make sure to configure which fields should be updated using the dropdown menu below, titled What do you want to be imported during partial updates? (e.g., Title, Price, Quantity, etc.).
