To set the minimum and maximum lead time with which customers can place an order (both for Takeaway and Delivery).
Procedure
1. Access the Delivery plugin settings and select the Hours tab.
2. Scroll down to the section titled Hours and locate the settings group under the settings-group entry (named anticipation).
3. Decide whether to use unified settings for both services or separate settings:
Option A: Unified (Global) Settings
If the option Use separate settings for Delivery and Takeaway is NOT selected, the settings you configure will apply to both delivery methods.
1. In the field under the label Minimum lead time, enter the number of minutes of minimum lead time required for an order (e.g., 15). The unit of measure is Minutes.
2. In the field under the label Maximum lead time, enter the maximum number of days within which a customer can book an order (e.g., 2). The unit of measure is Days.
3. (Optional) Check the box Do not accept orders for the same day if you want customers to be able to order only for subsequent days.
4. (Optional) In the field under the label Minimum interval between times, enter the time interval (in Minutes) that will be shown between delivery time options (e.g., 15).
Option B: Separate Settings (Specific)
Select the box Use separate settings for Delivery and Takeaway. Two distinct configuration blocks will appear: Takeaway and Delivery.
1. Takeaway Configuration:
- In the Takeaway block, set the specific Minimum lead time (in Minutes) and Maximum lead time (in Days) for on-site pickup orders.
- Also configure options related to "Same-day orders" and "Minimum interval between times" for Takeaway.
2. Delivery Configuration:
- In the Delivery block, set the specific Minimum lead time (in Minutes) and Maximum lead time (in Days) for home delivery orders.
- Also configure options related to "Same-day orders" and "Minimum interval between times" for Delivery.
4. Changes will be saved automatically or you may need to click on the platform's standard save button.
