Select the shipping method to apply to a rate
This procedure allows you to define which shipping method (configured in the Billing system) should be applied when an order falls within a specific delivery rate (defined by distance and location).
Procedure
1. Access the administration panel and go to the Delivery plugin settings.
2. Click on the Shipments tab.
3. Scroll down to the section titled Shipments.
4. If you are creating a new rate, click the Add new rate button.
5. For the rate you want to configure, fill in the following fields:
- Shipping location: Select the company location from which the shipping distance is calculated.
- Maximum distance: Enter the maximum distance, in Km, within which this rate is valid.
6. In the Select shipping method field, click on the text box and choose the shipping method that should be applied to all orders meeting the specified distance and location criteria.
7. Save your changes. The selected shipping rate will now be automatically applied to orders falling within this delivery area.
