Why do it: This feature allows you to define specific opening hours that should be used only for Delivery and Takeaway operations, ignoring the standard working hours set for the business.
Procedure
1. Access the Delivery plugin settings and go to the Hours section.
2. Scroll down to the box titled Override shipping hours.
3. Check the box next to Custom shipping hours.
4. In the dropdown menu that appears, select which hours to override:
- Both takeaway and delivery (Applies custom hours to both services).
- Takeaway only (Applies custom hours only to the Take Away service).
- Delivery only (Applies custom hours only to the Delivery service).
5. In the box below that opens, define the custom working hours for the selected services.
6. Save the changes.
The hours defined in this section will now be used to calculate the availability of dates and times shown to the customer at checkout.
