Limit the maximum number of simultaneous orders per time slot (Admin)
Why do it: This setting allows you to manage workload by limiting how many orders can be accepted for each specific delivery or pickup time.
Procedure
1. Log in to the admin panel and go to the Delivery plugin settings.
2. Click on the Time Slots tab.
3. Locate the main time configuration section (titled Time Slots).

The exact location of the field depends on the chosen configuration for managing time slots.
Scenario A: Single Settings (Delivery and Pickup have the same limit)
If the checkbox Use separate settings for Delivery and Pickup is NOT checked, follow these steps:
1. Scroll to find the field labeled Max. orders at the same time.
2. In the text box, enter the maximum number of orders you want to accept simultaneously for each available time slot.
(If left empty, the limit is infinite (∞)).
3. The unit of measurement is indicated as Orders.
Scenario B: Separate Settings (Different limits for Delivery and Pickup)
If the checkbox Use separate settings for Delivery and Pickup is checked, you will need to set the limit separately for these sections:
1. For Pickup: Locate the section titled Pickup. Inside it, find the field Max. orders at the same time and enter your desired limit.
2. For Delivery: Locate the section titled Delivery. Inside it, find the field Max. orders at the same time and enter your desired limit.
5. Saving
1. Once you have entered your desired values, make sure to save the changes in the platform.
