This guide shows you how to configure the system to present end users with pickup or delivery options as time intervals (time slots) instead of exact times.
Procedure
1. Access the Delivery plugin settings and navigate to the Hours tab.
2. In the box titled Hours, locate the settings-group section named anticipation.
3. Decide whether to configure time slots globally or separately for Takeaway and Delivery:
- If the checkbox Use separate settings for Delivery and Takeaway is unchecked, proceed to step 4, configuring the settings in the Global group.
- If the checkbox Use separate settings for Delivery and Takeaway is checked, you will need to configure the Takeaway and/or Delivery boxes separately.
4. Within the chosen settings group (Global, Takeaway, or Delivery), locate the section labeled Use 'Time Slots' instead of exact time.
5. Check the box Enable 'Time Slots' option.
6. Once checked, the field Time slot duration will appear. Enter the desired duration for each slot (for example, 30 for half an hour). The unit of measurement is in Minutes.
7. Save the changes to apply the new time slots.
