Why do it:
This setting allows you to limit the workload by accepting only a predefined number of orders for each available time interval (time slot), thus ensuring service quality.
Procedure
1. Log in to the admin panel and navigate to the Delivery plugin settings.
2. Click on the Hours tab.
3. Scroll down to the section titled Anticipation (inside the settings-group container with data-name="anticipation").
- Note: If the option Use separate settings for Delivery and Takeaway is checked, you will need to apply the limit separately for the Takeaway and/or Delivery sections. If unchecked, the configuration will be global.
4. In the desired section (Global, Takeaway, or Delivery), locate the field:
Max. orders at the same time
5. In the text field, enter the maximum number of orders that can be accepted simultaneously for each time interval.
- Tip: If you leave this field empty, the system will accept an unlimited number of orders (indicated by the placeholder
∞).
6. Click the save button (usually located at the bottom of the page) to apply your changes.
Once saved, the system will use this limit to calculate availability of time slots shown to customers during checkout.
