Why do it: To define the geographical areas covered by the home delivery service (Delivery), specifying the departure location, the maximum distance covered, and the applicable shipping method.
Procedure
1. Access the Delivery plugin settings and select the Shipping tab.
2. Scroll down to the section titled Shipping.
3. Click on the Add new rate button. A new configuration block will be created.
4. Within the new block, enter the rate details:
a. Shipping location: Select the company branch that will handle this shipment.
b. Maximum distance: Enter the numerical value of the maximum distance (in Km) that this rate will cover starting from the selected branch.
c. Select shipping method: Select the shipping method (and its related cost) that will be applied to orders falling under this rate.
5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 to add all necessary shipping rates.
6. Click on the general save button (usually located at the top or bottom of the page) to apply the changes.
