Description: This tool allows you to generate, manage, and print Transport Documents (DDT) directly from the sales orders recorded in the system.

What is it for? (Practical examples)

Use the DDT module to:

  • Comply with fiscal and logistical obligations, ensuring that every shipment is accompanied by the necessary documentation.
  • Track the preparation and shipping status of orders directly from the sales list.
  • Quickly generate transport documents in bulk for multiple orders ready for shipment.

Main features

1. Creation and management of the DDT

Within the detail tab of each sales order, there is a dedicated section for DDTs.

  • Creation: If the DDT is not yet present, it can be created. The system automatically suggests the first available DDT number for the current year, but the user can modify it before creation, provided the entered number has not already been used.
  • Viewing: Once created, the DDT number field is locked to ensure numerical sequence.
  • Cancellation: It is possible to cancel (delete) an existing DDT if it is no longer needed or was generated by mistake.

2. Document printing

The system allows printing the DDT in a format optimized for logistical printing. Printing can be initiated:

  • From the order detail tab (button Print).
  • Directly from the sales list (see next section).

3. DDT content

The generated document includes all essential information for transport:

  • Company data: Logo and Sender’s details (your company).
  • Logistical data: Recipient and Destination location (if different from billing).
  • Items: Detailed table of products included in the order, with code, description, and quantity.
  • Shipping summary: Total number of packages and overall weight of the goods.
  • Signatures: Dedicated spaces for the sender’s, courier’s, and recipient’s signatures.

Automatic integrations

1. DDT tab in the sales order

A new tab titled DDT is automatically added in the Sales management area, allowing you to create, print, or cancel the specific document for the displayed order.

2. Quick management from lists

In the main Sales table, two features are added to speed up the workflow:

  • Status column: An additional column immediately shows whether the DDT for that order has been Generated or is No. It is possible to filter the list based on this status.
  • Contextual actions: You can select one or more orders and, via the contextual menu, perform bulk actions:
  • Generate DDT: Automatically creates DDTs for all selected orders that do not yet have one, assigning the next sequential numbers.
  • Print DDT: Prints the DDTs for the selected orders that have already been generated.

3. Data export

When exporting sales data (e.g., in CSV or Excel format), the system automatically includes a direct link to access and download the DDT associated with each order.
