Why do it:
Through this section, it is possible to start a manual assignment of contacts to selected users, based on specific criteria.
Procedure:
1. Access the Manual Assignment section in the system settings.
2. Under Assignment Criteria, choose the basis for the assignment:
- Select Based on lists to use marketing lists.
- Select Based on labels to use customer labels.
3. Depending on the chosen criterion, select the targets:
- If you chose lists, use the Select lists field to select the desired lists.
- If you chose labels, use the Select labels field to select the desired labels.
4. In the field To which users do you want to assign these leads?, select one or more users who will become the owners of the leads.
5. In the field How do you want to handle current owners?, choose how to manage existing owners on the contacts:
- Select Keep only new owners to replace current owners.
- Select Keep both old and new owners to add new owners without removing existing ones.
6. Click the Assign leads button to start the manual assignment process.
> Note: Once conditions are set, click the Assign leads button to complete the assignment. The system will notify you how many contacts have been assigned.
