This guide explains how to define the rules that the system will use to identify the customers to whom automatic assignment should be applied.
Choose the Automatic Assignment Principle (Lists, Tags, or Conditions)
Why do this: This section allows you to create groups of rules to assign customers to specific users based on certain characteristics (Lists, Tags, or Conditions).
Procedure
1. Access the settings of the "Automatic Customer Assignment" plugin.
2. Click the Add criterion button to create a new group of assignment rules.
3. In the Assignment Criterion field, select the method you want to use:
Option 1: Based on lists
Use this option if you want to assign customers who are subscribed to one or more specific marketing lists.
1. In the Assignment Criterion field, select Based on lists.
2. In the field that appears, Select lists, choose from the list one or more lists to which the customer must be subscribed to trigger the assignment.
Option 2: Based on tags
Use this option if you want to assign customers who have one or more specific tags.
1. In the Assignment Criterion field, select Based on tags.
2. In the field that appears, Select tags, choose from the list one or more tags that the customer must have.
Option 3: Based on conditions
Use this option if you want to assign customers who meet a set of complex conditions (for example, "Country is Italy" AND "Total purchase value is greater than 100").
1. In the Assignment Criterion field, select Based on conditions.
2. In the Select conditions text field, use the Query Builder to define the rules that the customer must satisfy.
After choosing the criterion, remember to configure:
- To which users do you want to assign these leads? (Select specific users).
- To which roles do you want to assign these leads? (Select roles, assigning them to all users with that role).
- User rotation: Check the box Assign in rotation if you want assignments to be balanced among selected users.
Finally, click Save changes (or the equivalent general save button in the panel) to apply the rules.
