This guide explains how to configure manual lead assignment to decide whether current owners should be retained or replaced.
Choosing How to Manage Current Lead Owners
This setting is located in the Manual Assignment section and defines whether leads will keep their current (old) owners in addition to the new users you are assigning, or if the new owners will completely replace the old ones.
Procedure
1. Access the Manual Assignment section in the plugin settings.
2. Scroll down to find the field labeled How do you want to handle current owners?.
3. Click on the selection field and choose the desired option:
- Keep only new owners: The current lead owners will be removed. The lead will be assigned exclusively to the newly selected users.
- Keep both old and new owners: The newly selected users will be added as owners, but previously assigned lead owners will remain.
4. After setting all criteria (users, lists, or tags), to start the action, click on the Assign leads button.
