Why do it:
This feature allows you to display different content or layouts on the same type of page (for example, the Product page) based on specific conditions that the user or context must meet.
Procedure
1. Access the settings of the Conditional Pages Template plugin.
2. Locate the page type (e.g., Blog, Product, Contacts) for which you want to create a conditional template.
3. If the option is not active for that page, click the Activate button within the page’s box.
4. Scroll down inside the activated box and click the Add template button. A new configuration row will be added.
5. In the field labeled What is the name of the template?, enter a name that helps you identify this template (e.g., "Template for logged-in users" or "Template for traffic from Facebook").
6. In the field labeled Under what circumstances do you want to call this template?, use the Query Builder to define the rules that must be met to display this template.
- Note: If the conditions are met, this template will take precedence over the standard page template.
7. After configuring the template, make sure to save the global changes on the settings page.
> Important: Once configured, you can edit the conditional template’s content through the Pages module, where it will appear as a custom page with the name you defined in step 5.
