This procedure applies to discount types that use tiers (or quantity/stock ranges), such as Discount based on purchased quantity, Discount based on stock quantity, and Free product.
To define the values for each tier:
1. Make sure you have selected one of the tier-based discount types (e.g., Discount based on purchased quantity) in the Discount type field.
2. Scroll down to the Preferences section containing the tiers table.
1. Define the Tiers (Quantity Ranges)
Tiers define the range of quantity or stock that activates the discount.
1. If no tier exists, or to add a new one, click the Add tier button.
2. In the From field, enter the minimum quantity (or minimum stock quantity) required to activate the discount in this tier.
3. In the To field, enter the maximum quantity (or maximum stock quantity) up to which the discount applies.
- Tip: If you leave the To field empty, the tier will apply from the From quantity onwards.
2. Specify the Discount or Gift Value
The field you need to fill out varies depending on the selected Discount type:

This type of discount applies a monetary or percentage value.
1. In the Apply a discount of field, enter the numeric value of the discount (e.g., 10 for 10 Euro or 10%).
2. In the dropdown menu next to it, select the unit of discount:
- % (Percentage)
- € (Fixed monetary value)
B. If you selected "Free product" or "Discount based on stock quantity"
These discount types offer free products based on quantity.
1. In the Free products field, enter the number of items that the user will receive for free in this tier.
2. In the dropdown menu next to it, specify which items should be gifted:
- less expensive: The products with the lowest price among eligible ones will be given as gifts.

3. Repeat these steps for all tiers you want to define.
4. When finished, make sure to Save your changes.
