These steps allow you to precisely define which products or categories should benefit from the discount (inclusion) and which should be ignored (exclusion).
Procedure
1. Access the configuration of the discount you want to modify or create.
2. Locate the section containing the application limitation fields.
1. Include items or categories (Limit application)
This section defines the items or categories to which the discount will be applied. If you do not select anything, the discount will be applied to all eligible items.
1. Locate the field labeled Limit application.
2. Click inside the field (which shows the text Select items or categories...).
3. Start typing the name of the item or category you want to include.
4. Select the desired element from the list that appears. You can select multiple items or categories.
2. Exclude items or categories (Exclude from application)
This section defines the items or categories to which the discount will NOT be applied, even if they meet general conditions.
1. Locate the field labeled Exclude from application.
2. Click inside the field (which shows the text Select items or categories...).
3. Start typing the name of the item or category you want to exclude.
4. Select the desired element from the list. You can select multiple items or categories.
> Note: If an item or category is selected in both Limit application and Exclude from application, exclusion takes priority and the discount will not be applied.
3. After configuring the limitations, make sure to save the changes made to the discount configuration.
