Why do it: To ensure that the discount is not applied to certain items or entire categories, even if they meet the other conditions defined for the promotion.
Procedure to exclude items or categories
1. Access the configuration of the discount you want to modify or create a new discount.
2. Locate the fields related to discount application.
3. In the field labeled Exclude from application, click inside the selection area.
- Note: This field uses the placeholder Select items or categories... and allows you to search for specific products or categories.
4. Start typing the name of the item or category you want to exclude.
5. Select the desired entry from the list of results that appears.
6. Repeat steps 3-5 to add all items and categories that should be excluded from this discount.
7. Once you have completed configuring the discount, make sure to save your changes.
