Configure the value and type (percentage or fixed amount) of the discount for a tier based on the quantity purchased.

This guide explains how to set up variable discounts (percentage or fixed amount) applied based on the quantity of products purchased.

Procedure

1. In the discount configuration panel, create a new discount or edit an existing one.

2. In the Title field, assign an identifying name to the discount rule.

3. In the Discount Type field, select the option Quantity-based Discount.

4. (Optional) If you want customers to see a summary table of applied discounts, make sure the Show discount table box is checked.

Defining Discount Tiers

To define different discount levels based on quantity:

1. Scroll down to the tiers section and click the Add tier button.

2. In the newly created tier, fill in the fields to define the quantity range:

  • From: Enter the minimum quantity of items from which the discount applies.
  • To: Enter the maximum quantity of items up to which the discount applies.
  • Note: If you leave the To field empty, the discount will apply from the minimum quantity onward (e.g., 10+).

3. In the Apply a discount of field, define the value and type of discount for this tier:

  • In the left text box, enter the numerical value of the discount (e.g., 10 for 10% or €10).
  • In the dropdown menu on the right, select the unit:
  • Select % to apply a percentage discount.
  • Select to apply a fixed amount discount.

4. Repeat steps 1-3 to add additional quantity tiers with progressive or different discounts.

5. When finished configuring, be sure to save your changes.
