Why do it: To define whether, within a "Gift Item" promotion (for example, a 3x2), the products offered for free will be those with the lowest price or those with the highest price among the eligible items in the cart.
Procedure
1. Access the configuration of the Conditional Discount you want to modify or create.
2. Ensure that the Discount Type field is set to Gift Item.
3. Scroll down to the Preferences section.
4. In the tiers table, locate the tier (range) you want to configure. If you haven't created one yet, click on Add Tier.
5. Within the tier, locate the Gift Products field.
6. Next to the field where you entered the number of gift products, there is a dropdown menu. Click on this menu.
7. Select the desired price criterion:
- less expensive: The products offered as gifts will be those with the lowest price among the eligible purchased items.
- more expensive: The products offered as gifts will be those with the highest price among the eligible purchased items.
8. Save the changes to the discount rule.
