Why do it: Discount ranges allow applying different percentages or values based on the quantity of products purchased or the quantity available in stock.
Procedure
This procedure applies to discount types that use ranges, such as: Quantity-based discount, Stock-based discount, and Gift item.
1. Make sure you have selected a Discount Type that supports ranges (for example, Quantity-based discount).
2. Scroll down to the Preferences section that appeared after selecting the discount type.
3. Click the Add range button. A new configuration row will be added.
4. In the new range, fill in the following fields:
- From: Enter the minimum quantity of products or minimum stock quantity that activates this range.
- To: Enter the maximum quantity of products or maximum stock quantity for this range. (Leave empty if the discount should apply from a certain value upwards, without a maximum limit).
- Apply a discount of (or Gift items, depending on the selected discount type):
- Enter the numerical value of the discount or the number of gift items.
- Select the unit of measure (for example, % or € for discounts, or cheaper / more expensive for gift items).
5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 to add additional ranges if necessary.
6. Click Save changes (or the equivalent save button in your interface) to apply the changes.
