Request customer data for each purchased item (activation/deactivation)

This guide explains how to configure a product or subscription plan so that specific customer data is requested for each item purchased during checkout.

Why do it

By enabling the checkin system, customer data will be requested for each item purchased at checkout.

Procedure

To activate the request for customer data for a specific item, follow these steps:

1. Open the edit screen of the desired product or subscription plan.

2. Go to the Richiesta dati checkout tab (identified by an ID card icon).

3. Under the label Dati dei clienti, check the box:

  • Richiedi dati cliente per ogni articolo acquistato

4. Once the box is checked, configuration options will be enabled:

  • In the field Seleziona un form per richiedere i dati dei clienti, choose from the dropdown menu the form that customers will need to fill out.

5. Under the label Form da mostrare, you can choose whether to require completion for each individual quantity purchased:

  • Check the box Mostra un solo form (indipendentemente dalla quantità) if you want the customer to fill out the form only once, even if purchasing multiple units of the same item.

6. Save changes to apply the settings.
