This option allows you to display a price reduction (negative variation) applied to a category as an actual promotional discount on the website frontend.
Prerequisites: You must have enabled the price variation and set a negative value (a discount) in the percentage field.
Procedure
1. Access the settings of the desired Category.
2. Click on the Price Variation tab.
3. Make sure the price variation is active by checking the box next to Enable price variation.
4. Set the desired discount percentage (for example, -10 for a 10% discount) in the Apply a price variation in percentage field.
5. Locate the section labeled Display.
6. To make the price reduction appear as a promotional offer (discount), check the box next to Show as discount.
7. Click Save (or the equivalent save button) to apply the configuration.
