This guide explains how to configure and save automatic price variations applied to all products within a specific category.
Procedure
1. Access the Categories management section and open the category you want to modify.
2. Click on the tab titled Price Variation.
3. To enable the feature, check the box under the label Price Variation Status next to Enable Price Variation.
- Note: Once enabled, all configuration options will appear.
4. Configure the price variation settings as follows:
- In the field Apply a percentage price variation, enter a number. Use a positive value (e.g.,
10) to increase the price by 10%, or a negative value (e.g.,-5) to apply a 5% discount. - Under Discount Display, check the box if you want the variation to Apply only to registered users.
- Under Already Discounted Products, check the box to Exclude already discounted products from this variation.
- Under Display, check the box for Show as discount (useful if the variation is negative and you want it to appear as a crossed-out price).
- In the field Products to exclude, select specific products that should not be affected by this category price variation.
5. To save the settings, click on the main save button of the module (usually Save or Save changes) located outside of the tab.
