This guide explains how to set the expiration of a Card when using the "Assign card" action within an automation flow.
Procedure
1. Make sure that Operation is set to Add. The duration option is available only when adding a Card.
2. In the Card Duration field, click the dropdown menu to choose the desired expiration mode.
Four main options are available:
A. Default
By selecting Default, the Card will use the duration set in the original configurations of the Card itself. No additional fields are required.
B. Unlimited
By selecting Unlimited, the Card will have no expiration date. No additional fields are required.
C. Custom
By selecting Custom, you can define a specific time period after which the Card will expire, starting from when the action is executed.
1. In the Expires after field, enter a numeric value (for example, 30).
2. In the adjacent dropdown menu, select the time unit: Days, Weeks, Months, or Years.
D. Set (Fixed Date)
By selecting Set, you can specify an exact date and time at which the Card will expire, regardless of when the action is executed.
1. In the Expiration date field, enter or select the precise expiration date and time (format DD/MM/YYYY HH:MM).
3. After defining the duration, save the action to apply changes to the automation flow.
