Automatically assign one or more cards to the registration of new users (Backend)

This guide explains how to configure the automatic assignment of one or more cards to new users who register via a form on your website.

Automatically Assign Cards Upon User Registration

Method 1: Direct Configuration of the Registration Form

This procedure applies when you directly modify the "Registration Form" block within the Visual Builder.

1. Access the Visual Builder to edit the page containing the Registration Form.

2. Click on the Registration Form block to open its settings.

3. In the block settings, scroll down to find the section titled Activate card upon registration.

4. Click on the multi-select field and choose one or more cards from the list. The selected cards will be automatically assigned to the user upon completing registration.

5. Click Save (or the equivalent to save block changes) and publish the page to apply the modifications.

Method 2: Configuration via Form Action

This procedure applies when using a generic Form that performs the registration action and simultaneously assigns a card.

1. Access your Forms management section in the Backend.

2. Create a new Form or edit an existing Form that handles user registration.

3. In the Form configuration, go to the Actions section (or equivalent for defining what happens after submission).

4. Add a new action and select Assign card.

5. The "Assign card" action configuration will open. Under the label Select card(s) to activate, choose the specific card that should be assigned to users submitting the Form.

6. Save the action and changes to the Form.

Method 3: Assignment via Marketing Automation (Workflow)

This procedure is useful for assigning cards as part of an automated workflow (for example, after a user has completed a specific action or has been registered).

1. Access the Automation or Marketing section of your Backend to create or edit a Workflow.

2. Add a new step to your Workflow.

3. Select the Assign card action.

4. In the action editing screen (Edit card):

a. Under Operation, select Add.

b. Under Select Card, choose the card you want to assign.

c. Under Card Duration, define the validity period:

  • Select Default to use the duration set in the card itself.
  • Select Unlimited to assign the card with no expiration.
  • Select Custom to set an expiration:
  • Enter a value under Expires after.
  • Choose the time unit (e.g., Days, Weeks, Months, or Years).
  • Select Set to define a fixed expiration date:
  • Enter date and time under Expiration date.

5. Save the automation step. The card will be assigned automatically when users reach this step in the Workflow.
