Set the location selection as mandatory or optional during registration (in settings)

To check if users must or can choose a location during registration.

Procedure

1. Log in to the administration panel and navigate to the General Settings section.

2. Scroll down until you find the section titled Registration Preferences.

3. Within this section, you will find the following options:

4. To allow users to select a location during registration, check the box next to Location selection during registration.

  • Note: Enabling this option is necessary to display the next step.

5. After enabling the selection, a second option will appear.

6. To make location selection a mandatory requirement to complete registration, check the box next to Mandatory location selection.

7. If you want location selection to remain optional, make sure that the Mandatory location selection box is unchecked.

8. Save the changes (the save button is usually located at the bottom of the page).
