This guide shows you how to enter the API credentials and essential sender data needed to connect your system with BRT shipping services.
Why configure the credentials?
These details are essential to authenticate with BRT and allow the system to create, confirm, and track shipments.
Configuration Procedure
1. Access the BRT configuration section (usually accessible through Plugin or Shipping Module management).
2. In the BRT User ID field, enter your user code provided by BRT for API access.
3. In the BRT Password field, enter the password associated with your User ID.
> Warning: These credentials are different from those you might use to access the standard BRT web portal. Make sure to use the specific credentials for API integration.
4. In the BRT Sender Customer Code field, enter the Sender Customer Code assigned to you by BRT. This code identifies your company as the shipment sender.
5. In the BRT Departure Depot field, enter the numeric code of the BRT branch (depot) from which your shipments usually depart (e.g., 032).
6. In the BRT Default Service Code field, enter the default shipping service code you use most often (the default value is C for Express service).
7. In the BRT Pricing Condition Code field, enter the price condition code applied to your contract (the default value is 300).
8. Click on the confirmation button (usually Connect or Save) to save the settings. The system will perform a connectivity test to verify that the credentials are valid.
> If the configuration is successful, you will receive a success notification and the plugin will be active for shipment creation. If the test fails, carefully recheck the entered values, especially User ID and Password.
