This guide helps you configure the minimum number of nights required for a booking and apply an extra cost if the user books for a shorter period.
Procedure
1. Access the configuration of the accommodation or room you want to modify.
2. Navigate to the Booking Engine section (or the equivalent tab if you are modifying an item other than a room).
3. Locate the box titled Minimum Stay and Surcharge.
4. In the Minimum Stay field:
- Enter the minimum number of nights a user must book. The unit of measure is "nights".
5. In the Surcharge if Minimum Stay Not Met field:
- Enter the percentage surcharge to apply to the total cost if the user books fewer nights than the established minimum stay.
- Note: If you leave this field empty, booking for a stay shorter than the minimum will be prevented.
6. Click the general save button to apply the changes.
