Set the heading depth for the post index

This guide explains how to configure up to which heading level (H1, H2, H3, etc.) the automatic index of your post should include.

This setting is available within the "Indice" block in the Visual Builder.

Step-by-Step Procedure

1. Access the Indice Block Settings

In the Visual Builder, click on the Indice block (or post index) that you have inserted into the article content to open the settings window.

2. Find the "Profondità titoli" Setting

In the block settings window, look for the label Profondità titoli.

3. Select the Desired Depth

Use the dropdown menu to choose how many heading levels you want to display in the index. The available options are:

  • 3 livelli: (Includes headings H1, H2, and H3)
  • 2 livelli: (Includes headings H1 and H2)
  • 1 livelli: (Includes only headings H1)

Note: If your post does not contain headings of a certain level (for example, H3), they will not appear in the index even if you have selected "3 livelli".

4. Save Changes

Once you have selected the desired depth, save the changes to the block and then save the page to apply the configuration.
