This guide shows you how to define the sorting direction (from newest to oldest, or vice versa) for the lists of posts displayed on your site.
This setting is located within the options of the block that displays the list of posts (for example, the "Posts" block in Visual Builder).
Procedure to Set the Order
1. Open the page where the list of posts is present and access the block settings (usually by clicking on the gear-shaped icon).
2. In the block settings window, look for and click on the section titled Sort (it may be an accordion panel or a group label).
3. Inside the Sort section, locate the label Order.
4. Click on the dropdown menu under the Order label and select the desired option:
- Ascending: Posts will be ordered from lowest to highest value (for example, from oldest to newest if sorting by Date).
- Descending: Posts will be ordered from highest to lowest value (for example, from newest to oldest if sorting by Date).
5. Save changes in the block and then save the page to apply the sorting.
Note: The Order option works in combination with the Sort by option (located next to it), which defines the sorting criterion (for example, Date, Visits, or Random).
