This guide shows you how to set the sorting of articles displayed in a specific block (for example, an "Articles" or "Related Articles" block) based on the publication date.
Note: This procedure applies when you are editing an article display block within the Visual Builder.
Sort Articles by Date
1. Open Block Settings: Click on the block displaying the list of articles (for example, an "Articles" block) to open its settings.
2. Access the "Sort" Section: Within the settings panel, find and click on the section titled Sort.
3. Select Sorting Criterion: In the field labeled Sort by, select the option:
- Date
4. Set Order Direction: In the field labeled Order, choose the desired direction:
- Descending: Shows the most recent articles first (from newest to oldest).
- Ascending: Shows the oldest articles first (from oldest to newest).
5. Save Changes: Save the block and page settings to apply the new sorting.
