This guide explains how to configure an article block (such as a list or carousel) to order the results based on the number of visits received.
This configuration applies to blocks that display lists of articles, such as those found on category pages, tag pages, or the "All Articles" page.
Order Articles by Visits
To order articles based on their popularity (number of visits), follow these steps within the Visual Builder:
1. Access the Article Block Settings:
In the Visual Builder, click on the block displaying the list of articles (usually called Articoli or Articoli categoria) to open the configuration window.
2. Open the "Ordina" Section:
Within the configuration window, look for and click on the section (accordion) titled Ordina to expand it.
3. Select "Visite" as Sorting Criterion:
In the "Ordina" section, find the field labeled Ordina per.
- Click on the dropdown menu and select the option Visite.
4. Define the Order (Optional):
In the field labeled Ordine, decide if you want the most popular articles to appear first:
- Select Descendente to show articles with the highest number of visits at the top of the list.
- Select Ascendente to show articles with the lowest number of visits at the top of the list.
5. Save Changes:
After setting the criteria, save and apply changes to the block to see articles ordered by visits.
