This guide explains how to enable customers to use their available balance as a direct discount in the cart and how to customize the messages displayed during checkout.
Location: Plugin Settings > Convert to Discount Tab
Configuration Procedure
1. Enable Conversion
1. Access the Convert to Discount tab in the plugin settings.
2. Check the box next to Enable balance payment at checkout.
- Note: Enabling this option will make the message configuration section appear.
2. Customize Messages at Checkout
After enabling the conversion, proceed to the Messages at Checkout section:
1. In the Available Discount Message field, enter the text that will be shown to the customer in the cart summary to inform them they can apply their balance as a discount.
- Tip: Use the shortcodes
{balance}to display the customer's total balance and{balance-value}to show the maximum discount amount applicable to the current order.
2. In the 'Apply Discount' Button Text field, enter the wording that will appear on the button the customer needs to click to apply the discount (e.g., "Use my credits").
3. In the Button Style field, select the color and visual style of the button from available options (e.g., Primary, Success, Danger, etc.).
Once configuration is complete, changes will be saved automatically or via the general save button on the Settings page.
