This guide explains how to configure the affiliate system to automatically assign a sponsor to new users who register without entering an affiliate code.
Procedure
1. Log in to the admin panel and navigate to the Affiliation module settings (usually under the Customers section).
2. Select the Registration tab.
3. Locate the section titled Auto-assignment.
4. Check the box next to Enable automatic assignment to activate the feature.
5. In the Assignment criterion field, select one of the following methods:
- To the geographically closest user: The system assigns the sponsor based on geographic proximity to the new user.
- Rotating among selected users: The system assigns the sponsor sequentially from a predefined list of users.
6. If you selected "Rotating among selected users":
- A new field titled Select users to rotate will appear.
- Use this field to search for and add customers you want to include in the automatic assignment rotation.
7. Save the changes made to the settings.
