This guide explains how to view and edit a customer's affiliate code, assign a sponsor, and set personalized benefits directly from the admin panel.
1. Accessing the Customer's Affiliation Settings
1. Log in to the admin panel and navigate to the customer management section.
2. Select the specific customer whose affiliation you want to manage.
3. Within the customer's profile, click on the Customer Affiliation tab (diamond icon).
2. Editing the Affiliate Code and Sponsor
In this section, you can check and modify the code that the customer uses to refer other users, and see who sponsored them.
1. In the Affiliate Code field, you can view or edit the unique code that the customer uses for invitations.
- Note: If you leave this field empty, the system will automatically generate a code upon saving.
2. In the Sponsored by field, you can view or change the user who referred this customer.
- Click on the field and search for the customer you want to set as sponsor.
3. Setting Custom Affiliate Benefits
If you want this customer to receive or grant rewards different from the general settings of the affiliate system, you can set custom benefits.
1. Check the box Set custom benefits for this customer.
2. The Custom Benefits section will appear.
3. Within this section, you will see affiliate goals (e.g., Site Registration, Product Sale).
4. For the goal you want to customize, click on the Activate button.
5. Configure specific settings for the goal:
3.1. General Goal Settings
1. If applicable for the goal (e.g., Product Sale), in the "Should rewards be assigned every time?" field select:
- No, apply only once (to assign the reward only one time).
- Yes, apply on every [goal] (to assign the reward each time the action is repeated).
2. If needed, you can also apply a custom coupon specific to this goal.
3.2. Configuring Rewards (Benefits)
For each activated goal, you must configure rewards for two recipients:
- Sponsor: The rewards received by the customer you're editing when the goal is achieved.
- Sponsored: The rewards received by the invited user (the sponsored customer) when the goal is achieved.
For each recipient, you can assign:
1. Points assignment:
- Enter a numerical value in the field.
- If the goal is scalable (e.g., purchase), you can choose whether the value is Fixed or a percentage (% purchase).
- You can specify Assignment notes (visible to the customer).
- You can enable and configure rewards for subsequent levels (e.g., 2nd level) by checking Enable [level] level.
2. Credits assignment:
- Enter a value in euros in the field.
- If scalable, choose whether it’s a Fixed amount or a percentage (% purchase).
- You can specify Assignment notes.
- You can enable and configure rewards for subsequent levels (e.g., 2nd level).
4. Saving Changes
After completing all changes to the affiliate code and custom benefits:
1. Click on the Save button (or equivalent) at the bottom of the page to apply new settings to this customer.
5. Viewing Sponsored Customers
At the bottom of the Customer Affiliation tab, you'll find the Sponsored Customers List section.
This table shows:
- The total number of Sponsored Customers by this user.
- A detailed table with:
- Customer (First and Last Name of invited user).
- Code (The affiliate code used by invited user, if applicable).
- Invitation Date (The date when invited user registered).
