Why do it: This setting allows you to redirect the rewards (such as points or credits) generated from the sale of this specific product/service to a user other than the original sponsor.
1. Setting the Primary Beneficiary
This procedure sets a single beneficiary who will receive the rewards generated from the sale of the product/service, ignoring the sponsor who brought in the customer.
1. Access the backend and edit the product, event, or membership plan for which you want to set the beneficiary.
2. Navigate to the Affiliation tab.
3. Locate the Custom Beneficiary field.
4. Click on the field and search for the user you wish to set as beneficiary.
5. Select the desired user.
6. Save changes to the product/service.
2. Setting Beneficiaries for Multiple Levels (Advanced)
If the affiliation system is configured for multi-level rewards and you want rewards for level 2, 3, etc., to go to specific users (instead of climbing up the sponsorship chain), follow these steps.
> Note: This option is available only if credit rewards (Customer Balance) are active and requires enabling custom beneficiaries.
1. In the Affiliation tab of the product/service, check the box Set custom benefits for the product.
2. The Custom Purchase Benefits section will open.
3. Make sure that the goal Sale of a product is active.
4. Within the goal settings, navigate to the Sponsor Rewards column.
5. In the Credit Assignment section, scroll down to find settings for subsequent levels (e.g., 2nd level, 3rd level, etc.).
6. For each level where you want a custom beneficiary:
a. Check the box to enable that level (e.g., Enable 2nd level).
b. Locate the field labeled Custom beneficiary at {level} level (for example, "Custom beneficiary at 2nd level").
c. Click on the field and select the user who will receive credits for that specific level.
7. Save changes to the product/service.
