This guide explains how to customize the welcome message and the default text containing the affiliate link, displayed to users in their Client Area.
Procedure
1. Log in to the platform's administration panel (Admin).
2. Navigate to the Affiliation module settings.
3. Click on the Client Area tab.
1. Edit the Introductory Text
This section controls the welcome message that appears above the affiliate links in the user's Client Area.
1. Locate the box titled Messages.
2. In the field under the label Introductory Text, modify the text as you wish.
(This field supports advanced formatting via TinyMCE editor).
2. Edit the Affiliate Link Text
This section controls the displayed text that encloses the generic affiliate link, in case Sponsor Sections have not been enabled.
1. Stay within the Messages box.
2. Locate the field under the label Affiliate Link.
3. Modify the default text.
- Note: Make sure to include the shortcode
{code}in the text. This shortcode will be automatically replaced with the user's unique affiliate link.
3. Save Changes
1. Once you have completed your changes, scroll to the bottom of the page.
2. Click on the Save Changes button (or equivalent) to apply the new settings.
