Manually Assigning a Sponsor to a Specific Client (Admin)
Why do it:
This procedure allows you to manually link an existing client to a specific sponsor, ensuring that the sponsor receives affiliate benefits for the client's future actions.
Procedure:
1. Log in to the client management area (Admin).
2. Search for and select the client to whom you want to assign a sponsor.
3. Within the client's tab, navigate to the tab identified by the affiliation icon (often a diamond or user icon) or titled Affiliation.
4. Locate the section related to the client's affiliation data.
5. Look for the field labeled Sponsored by.
6. Click on the Sponsored by field and use the selector (the Element Picker) to search for and select the client who should act as the sponsor.
7. If necessary, you can also manually edit the client's Affiliate Code in this same section.
8. Once you have selected the sponsor, click on the general save button of the form (usually Save or Update) to apply the changes.
