This guide explains how to configure specific sections of your site that users can sponsor, allowing them to generate personalized affiliate links for different areas of your service.
The settings are located in the Customer Area section of the Affiliation module configurations.
1. Enable Section Management
To add or modify sponsorable sections, you must first enable the feature.
1. Access the Affiliation module settings and go to the Customer Area tab.
2. Scroll down to the Sponsorable Sections panel.
3. In the Add sections row, check the box next to Enable adding sections.
Once enabled, the section for managing the list of sections will appear.
2. Add a New Sponsorable Section
To create a new specific affiliate link:
1. Scroll to the end of the existing sections list.
2. Click on the Add tag button. A new configuration block will be created.
3. In the Section name field, enter a descriptive name for this section (e.g., Card Section). This name will be visible to the user in the customer area.
4. In the Section link field, enter the full URL of the specific page or section that the affiliate should promote (e.g., https://mysite.com/product-page).
Sharing Configuration (Optional)
These fields define the default content when the user shares the link on social platforms (such as Facebook):
1. Under Sharing title, enter the title that will appear in the share.
2. Under Sharing content, enter a short description that will accompany the shared link.
Display Limitation (Optional)
If you want this specific section to be visible only to certain affiliates:
1. Use the Limit section display field to set conditions that users must meet to view and use this affiliate link.
3. Modify an Existing Section
1. Locate the block of the section you want to modify.
2. Update the Section name, Section link, or Sharing details as needed.
4. Delete a Section
1. Locate the block of the section you want to remove.
2. Click on the Delete tag button positioned at the corner of the block.
5. Save Changes
After adding, modifying, or deleting sections:
1. Scroll to the bottom of the settings page.
2. Click on the save button (usually Save changes or Update) to apply the new configurations.
