This guide explains how to configure reward assignment (points or credits) for affiliate levels beyond the first (multi-level), within the settings of the Affiliation module.
Enable or disable reward assignment for subsequent affiliate levels (multi-level)
To configure rewards for second-level and subsequent affiliates, you need to access the general settings of the Affiliation module.
Procedure
1. Log in to the administration panel and go to the Affiliation module settings.
2. Make sure you are on the General tab.
3. Locate the affiliation goal for which you want to configure multi-level rewards (for example, Product sale).
4. If the goal is not active, click the Activate button in the header of the box.
5. Scroll down to the Benefits section and find the box related to the beneficiary you want to configure (for example, Sponsor Rewards).
6. Within this section, find the configuration for reward assignment:
- Points assignment (if the Points plugin is active).
- Credits assignment (if the Customer Balance plugin is active).
7. Scroll down within the Points or Credits configuration to find settings for subsequent levels. These are labeled as:
- 2nd level
- 3rd level
- ... up to 7th level.
8. To enable reward assignment for a specific level (for example, 2nd level), check the box under the label that reads:
- Enable 2nd level (or desired level).
9. Once checked, a configuration section will open where you can set:
- The Value to assign at X level (Points or Balance/Credits).
- The assignment method (Fixed or % purchase, depending on the goal).
10. Repeat steps 7-9 for all affiliate levels and all types of rewards (Points and Credits) you wish to activate.
11. After completing your changes, click Save changes (or equivalent module save button) to apply the multi-level configuration.
> Note: If the box Enable X level is not checked, reward assignment for that specific level will be disabled.
