Enable customized affiliate benefits for a purchasable product/service (backend)

This guide explains how to set specific affiliate rewards for a single purchasable product or service, overriding the general affiliate settings.

Procedure

1. Access the edit section of the purchasable product or service (e.g., an E-commerce Product, an Event, or a Membership Plan).

2. In the edit menu, look for and click on the Affiliation tab (<i class="fa fa-users"></i> Affiliation).

3. In the section, check the box: Set custom benefits for the product.

  • Optional: If you want the affiliate benefits to go to a specific user instead of the default sponsor, use the Custom Beneficiary field to select the desired customer.

4. The Custom Purchase Benefits section will open. Here you can configure specific rewards for this product.

5. In the list of goals, find the entry Sale of a product and click the Activate button to enable configuration.

6. In the Sale of a product section, you will find two columns to configure rewards:

  • Sponsor Rewards (Your benefits): Rewards intended for the affiliated user (the sponsor) who brought in the customer.
  • Sponsored Rewards (Sponsored benefits): Rewards intended for the new customer (the sponsored) who made the purchase.

7. For each column:

  • Points assignment: Enter a numeric value in the field.
  • Select Fixed if the value is a fixed amount (e.g., 100 Points).
  • Select % purchase if the value is a percentage of the sale price.
  • Credits assignment: Enter a numeric value (in euros/local currency) in the field.
  • Select Fixed if the value is a fixed amount (e.g., 5 Euro).
  • Select % purchase if the value is a percentage of the sale price.
  • Optional: Add an Assignment Note that will be visible to the customer.

8. Save changes to the product to apply the custom affiliate settings.
