To choose where to position a custom order status in the general list of statuses:
Why choose the position
Defining the position of a custom order status allows you to insert it logically within the workflow, making it appear immediately after a specific predefined status.
Procedure
This procedure applies when you are creating or editing a custom order status in the General section of the plugin.
1. Access the configuration of the custom order status you want to position.
2. Locate the dropdown field labeled Show after.
3. Click on the field to display the available options.
4. Choose one of the following options:
- At the end of the list: Select this option if you want your custom status to appear after all predefined order statuses and other already defined custom statuses.
- [Name of an existing status]: Select the name of an existing order status (either predefined or custom) so that your new status appears immediately after the selected one.
5. Save the changes to apply the new position.
