Change the name of a default order status

Guide: How to Rename a Default Order Status

Why do it:

You can customize the displayed name for the system's default order statuses, adapting them to the specific terminology of your workflow.

Procedure:

1. Access the configuration area of the "Advanced Order Statuses" plugin.

2. Click on the tab named Edit Default Statuses.

3. Scroll down until you find the section related to the default order status you want to rename (for example, "Pending Payment" or "Completed").

4. In the chosen status section, locate the field labeled Status Name.

5. Enter the new name you want to use.

  • Note: If you leave this field empty, the system's default name will be used.

6. (Optional) If you also want to change its appearance, you can edit the Label Color field.

7. Click on the Save (or Save Changes) button to apply the modification.

The changes will be immediately visible in all areas where order statuses are displayed.
