The placeholder text is a suggestion displayed inside an empty field that guides the user to enter the correct information.
Procedure to Define the Placeholder Text
1. Access the main configuration section of Attributi avanzati.
2. Locate the custom attribute you want to modify. If you are creating a new attribute, click on Aggiungi campo.
3. Make sure that the selected Tipologia campo (for example: Input, Numero, Textarea or Selezione) supports the use of placeholders.
4. In the attribute configuration row, look for the field labeled Placeholder.
5. Enter the desired text in the Placeholder field. This text will appear as a suggestion in the product frontend field.
6. Save the changes to apply the new placeholder text.
