Guide: Skip directly to the main content of the page
Why do it: This feature allows you to quickly bypass navigation menus, headers, and secondary elements of the page to get straight to the main text and information.
Procedure:
1. Make sure your browser's focus is at the top of the page (for example, by reloading the page or clicking on an empty area).
2. Press the Tab key on your keyboard.
3. When you press Tab, a hidden link will appear (or receive focus). The text of this link is Skip to main content.
4. Press the Enter or Space key to activate the link.
5. You will be immediately moved to the beginning of the main content of the page.
