To reduce or eliminate motion effects (such as animations, fades, or smooth scrolling) that may cause distraction or discomfort, follow these steps.
Why do it
Reducing animations helps prevent dizziness, nausea, or eye strain caused by moving elements on the screen.
Procedure
1. Click on the accessibility button (the icon with the stylized person: <i class="fas fa-universal-access"></i>) located on the side of the screen to open the Accessibility panel.
2. In the panel, scroll down to the section titled Visual adjustment.
3. Click on the Reduce animations button.
4. When the feature is active, the Reduce animations button will light up and animated elements on the site will be reduced or replaced with static transitions.
5. To deactivate the feature, click again on the same button.
6. Click Close at the bottom of the panel to return to browsing.
