Why do it: Enabling dark contrast (Dark Mode) improves readability in low-light environments and reduces eye strain.
Procedure
1. Open the accessibility panel by clicking on the accessibility icon (<i class="fas fa-universal-access"></i>), usually located at the side of the screen.
2. The toolbar titled Accessibility will open.
3. Scroll to the section titled Visual Adjustment.
4. Click the Dark Contrast button.
- The site will immediately change colors to dark mode. The Dark Contrast button will light up to indicate that the feature is active.
5. To disable dark mode, click the Dark Contrast button again.
6. To close the toolbar and save changes, click the Close button at the bottom of the panel.
